Today, we have one of the rarest articles in Adidas footwear history that boast an existence - one many Three Stripes collectors are none the wiser of, especially as a two-part capsule. This duo was introduced to coincide with the release of Andrew Garfield’s take on The Amazing Spider-Man, along with Jamie Foxx lacing up those immensely experienced boots as Electro.
With upper-construction in mind, we observe a weaving of blue, red and black to symbolise Spidey’s iconic suit whilst Electro’s pair adopts our namesake electricity-influenced print. For us, these play on Nike’s early-’00s ‘Lightning’ Air Presto.
